In the Corona case, the lecture is held as a synchronous distance lecture. In ILIAS (→ Link) there is a folder "DISTANCE LEARNING → ZOOM LINKS", in which a permanent link "ZOOM Session Lecture ENGLISH" is available.According to the regulations of the university, the lessons are held synchronously, i.e. no recordings are made.
You will work in groups to make the tutorials more efficient. While doing the exercises as a group, you can ask questions and exchange ideas with the lecturers and assistants. In general, you form your groups yourself during the first week. But, due to the corona situation, the process is limited, which is why we have already defined the groups. The forming is done along the alphabet and along the majors. You will find the link to the document that contains your group membership here → Link
Since it is
technically not feasible that we host parallel Zoom meetings for you, we kindly
ask each group to set up its own Zoom meeting room.
In order to
support you during the tutorials, we will meet you regularly in your Zoom
meeting rooms as an "ordinary" participant.
We believe
that this is an easy an effective solution.
Please share the link to your Zoom meeting room
by sending us an email with the Zoom link per group → applied_data_analysis@hslu.ch
Login with your HSLU account on this website → hslu.zoom.us
This way you have the extended version of Zoom available and the meeting will not end after 40 minutes.
Create a recurring meeting according to the instructions, which has no time limit, accessible by link and is valid until the end of the semester.
Also activate the option Allow participants to join anytime to avoid getting stuck in the waiting room until the host allows access.
